Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems across our oil & gas, power, and marine projects. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence, compliance with standards, and project success.
Job Skills Requirements
- Develop and review mechanical engineering designs, specifications, and calculations
- Supervise equipment selection, installation, and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with industry codes (API, ASME, ISO) and safety standards
- Support procurement and vendor selection with technical evaluations
- Coordinate with project managers and other engineers to meet delivery timelines
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for mechanical failures
- Provide technical support during construction, testing, and startup phases
Qualifications
- B.Eng or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in oil & gas or related industries
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant software
- Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
